The MAZ-6422 is a heavy road semi-trailer tractor from the Minsk MAZ works. It has a cab-over-engine cab and a three-axle chassis layout with the rear axles driven. Trucks of this line were the backbone of long-distance road haulage in Eastern Europe and ran both in company and in international liveries.
The tractor cab is a large smooth surface on which every unevenness of the edge stands out. If you want a softer, slightly blurred transition, pack the mask around its perimeter with a thin strip of masking tape or modeling putty so that the edge rises roughly a millimeter above the surface. The paint then drifts under the edge and the transition will be soft. If on the other hand you want a hard edge, press the film down as tightly as possible and spray straight at the surface. Try both variants out on a piece of scrap plastic first.
