A finished collector's model of the fourth-generation Skoda Octavia passenger car in 1:43 scale from the maker Abrex, in the Energy Blue shade. The model is supplied assembled and painted, ready to go straight on display. It is not a kit; nothing is glued and nothing is sprayed.
The fourth-generation Octavia was presented in 2020 and followed a long line of predecessors that made the Octavia the best selling model of the Mlada Boleslav carmaker. Against the previous generation it has a more strongly shaped front, narrower headlights and a smoother line along the side. It is precisely the differences in shape between the generations that are the reason collectors line the individual models up side by side.
With collector's car models the color finish is the main distinguishing feature: the same car comes out in several shades and a collector chooses the one that matches his own car or completes a row in a display case. This model is in the Energy Blue shade. If a particular color is what matters to you, go by the designation of the shade in the name rather than by a general name for the color.
Keep the model in a display case out of direct sunlight, which takes the depth out of the paint and the printing over time. Remove dust with a soft brush or a blower, not with a cloth, which could scratch the paint and the fine details. Pick the model up by the chassis or by the roof, not by the mirrors and the wipers.
This is a finished collector's model, not a kit and not a toy. It is supplied assembled and painted.
