A collector's model of the fourth generation Skoda Octavia in 1:43 scale with a pink body. It is a finished model: it does not need gluing, sanding or spraying, and once unpacked it goes straight into a cabinet. Abrex has long specialized in miniatures of Skoda cars, and its 1:43 range is the most widespread among Czech collectors, because it covers both ordinary color variants and service and company liveries. The pink version is among the shades that appear only rarely in model form, so it is interesting precisely for collectors putting together a complete color series.
The fourth generation Skoda Octavia was presented at the end of 2019 and went on sale in 2020. Against the previous generation it grew in wheelbase and in passenger room, and it received a markedly reworked interior with a digital instrument display and split headlights with separate daytime running lights. It was offered as a liftback and as a wagon, and over the course of production it went through a wide range of powerplants. The Octavia remains the brand's best-selling model and is one of the most common cars on Czech roads.
The model is meant for display, not for play. It is best left in its original packaging on a shelf or in a glazed cabinet, out of direct sunlight; with deep finishes, fading is the most common cause of damage. Dust is removed with a soft brush or with compressed air from a safe distance; chemical cleaners and spirit-based products do not belong on a painted surface. Hold the model by the chassis or by the roof, not by the small external features.
The model is supplied finished and painted as a collector's piece. It is not a kit and is not intended as a toy for small children.
