A finished collector model of the compact SUV Skoda Yeti after the 2013 facelift, in 1:43 scale from the Czech brand Abrex. It is not a kit: the model comes out of the box assembled, painted and with the detail applied. Among the color versions of this car the pink finish is one of the less usual ones, which makes it an interesting piece even for a collection where another Yeti already stands.
The Skoda Yeti was the first compact SUV from the Mlada Boleslav brand, introduced in 2009. The 2013 facelift brought a new front end with a more strongly divided grille and revised headlights, a reworked rear and changes in the interior; the range split into a city-oriented version and a more ruggedly conceived Outdoor variant. The car earned a reputation as a practically conceived vehicle with a high-set body and generous space for both crew and luggage, even though in its dimensions it stayed in the compact class.
The 1:43 scale is the classic collector format for passenger cars: the model fits into an ordinary display case and the shape of the body and the division of the lights and the grille stay readable in it. A saturated unusual shade works well in a case as a color accent among the more common white and silver cars. Gloss paint attracts dust, so a closed case and the occasional dusting with a soft brush are useful. Avoid direct sunlight, which over time changes both the shade of the paint and the color of the printed detail.
The model is supplied finished, assembled and painted. It is not a kit, so you need neither glue nor paints for it.
