The Eduard A-26B mask 1:48 is a die-cut self-adhesive masking set for accurate spraying of the glazing of a model of the Douglas A-26B Invader attack bomber.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a die-cut self-adhesive masking set from Eduard in 1:48 scale, not a model of the aircraft. The masks are die-cut from yellow masking film and they follow the frames of the glazed cockpit and of the glazed nose section of the A-26B exactly. They give sharp paint edges and speed the masking up markedly.
The Douglas A-26 Invader was an American twin-engine attack and light bomber from the end of the Second World War. The A-26B version carried the full forward section with fixed machine gun armament, and the machine served for a long time after the war in a number of conflicts.
Degrease the glazing, lift the masks with tweezers and press them down into the corners of the frames. Spray the interior color of the frame first, then the final covering shade; take the mask off while the paint is still fresh, so that the edges do not tear.
The masking set is supplied on its own. The model of the aircraft, the paints and the glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
