This is not a model but a more extensive resin detail and correction set for Avia S-199 models. It combines cast resin parts, photo-etched elements and a decal sheet. The aim is to sharpen the characteristic features of the Czech Avia that differ from the base Messerschmitt, and to offer markings for several color schemes.
The Avia S-199, known as the Mezek, was a postwar Czechoslovak fighter derived from the Bf 109G and fitted with the engine and propeller of the He 111 bomber. That combination brought a number of differences in the forward fuselage, the armament and other details, and it is these that the correction set addresses.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin parts, cut off the casting blocks and sand the surfaces with your breathing protected. Glue the resin with cyanoacrylate glue; bend the fine photo-etched parts over an edge and glue them spot by spot. Apply the decals over a smooth varnished base.
This is an accessory for a model, not a stand-alone kit. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
