The last pair of the zodiac line: Aquarius on the machine 252545 and Aries on the machine 252693, printing in a ratio of 1:48.
Responsibility details are not available.
The sheet closes a line that gradually brought all the signs painted on the noses of one bombardment squadron. Aquarius was carried by the aircraft 252545, Aries by the machine 252693. The name of the first sign is recorded in a divergent form, but in substance it is the ordinary water carrier of the zodiac.
Six sheets, two motifs on each, twelve pieces of artwork altogether: exactly as many as the squadron of bombers had. Anyone who builds more than one model can gradually assemble the whole formation, and with aircraft decoration that is an exceptional opportunity, because elsewhere paintings tend to be scattered across various units and periods. One interesting detail in closing: among the twelve pieces of artwork one sign appears twice, so one of the symbols of the zodiac is in the end missing from the set.
Prepare a shallow dish of lukewarm water, tweezers with flat jaws, a soft cloth and cotton swabs. Immerse a cut out motif, wait until the glue releases, and transfer it to a glossy base. Adjust the position while there is still water under the printing, then press it down gently and leave it alone. Wait until the next day with the final varnishing, so that the moisture has time to evaporate from under a larger area too.
The printing is calculated for a model of a four engine bomber in a ratio of 1:48 and the package holds only the sheet with two motifs. The kit and the chemicals for varnishing are provided to your own choice. An unused motif need not go to waste; a number of modelers keep leftover artwork in reserve and come back to it when they come across a kit of the matching version.
