A comprehensive detail set for the Messerschmitt Bf 109G-6 Gustav fighter in 1:48 scale from Aires. The resin accessory gathers several detail elements for a kit into one package and replaces the simplified plastic parts with faithfully detailed assemblies, typically the cockpit interior and further compartments or airframe details.
The Bf 109G-6 was one of the most numerous versions of the Gustav, the most widespread series of the German fighter of the Second World War. It was powered by the Daimler-Benz DB 605 inverted V12 engine. A characteristic feature of the G-6 version were the blisters over the synchronized guns ahead of the cockpit.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin parts, cut off the casting blocks and bond with super glue. Protect your airways while sanding. It is advisable to paint the individual parts before final assembly and to pick out the details with a wash.
