A sheet of waterslide decals in 1:48 scale from the manufacturer Print Scale, the first part of the series for the late Messerschmitt Bf-109K Kurfürst fighter. It contains national insignia and markings. The decals are transferred onto a model with water (wet decals) and they serve as an alternative or an addition to the decals from the box. The kit itself has to be obtained separately.
The Messerschmitt Bf-109K Kurfürst was the last major production model of the famous German fighter from the end of the Second World War. It grew out of the earlier versions of the 109 series and brought aerodynamic and performance refinements. It was deployed in the last months of the war in the defense of the Reich.
Apply the decals over a smooth gloss clear coat, which prevents the silvering effect under the film. Cut the motif out, dip it briefly in lukewarm water and once it has softened slide it onto the surface of the model. Once dry, go over it with a matte or satin varnish; a decal softener helps it settle onto the detail.
