A detail upgrade set from the manufacturer HGW intended for models of the Messerschmitt Bf 109G-6 fighter in 1:48 scale. The Basic Line range brings realistic fabric seat belts and masking stencils together in one package. It is not a model of an aircraft but a refining accessory for a base plastic kit. The masks are cut for the Tamiya kit.
The main component is belts of printed microtextile, which bend and behave like real fabric and, combined with photo-etched buckles, look very convincing. The set further contains masking stencils for spraying the canopy glazing cleanly. The fabric parts are durable and will stand up to ordinary modeling products.
Shape the belts so that they hang naturally and glue the buckles with cyanoacrylate glue. Apply the masks to degreased glazing and spray the paint in thin coats. The set is tied to a particular kit, so check compatibility with your model.
This is an accessory for a kit, not a model in its own right. The base kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
