British accessories for Shermans 1:48 from the Czech maker Hauler is a photo-etched set of fittings with which you equip an already built model; it is not a kit of the tank.
Responsibility details are not available.
A photo-etched set from the Czech maker Hauler meant for models of Shermans in British service. It is not a kit of the vehicle but fittings that you add on top of a finished model. They are thin brass parts matching the equipment of British crews, that is, items that a kit either does not have at all, or has only in simplified form.
The Sherman was an American tank, but in British service its appearance differed quite a lot. The crews added their own equipment and stowage items to the hull and the turret, and it is precisely these small things that turn a generic Sherman into a recognizably British vehicle. At the same time they usually cannot be done convincingly in a kit, because they are thin or wire shapes that injection-molded plastic cannot manage in a scale thickness.
Paint the accessories separately from the model and only then seat them - on a finished vehicle a brush no longer reaches between them. It is bonded with super glue; cement for plastic does not hold on brass. When placing them, bear in mind that equipment always lies on something or is secured by something; a part that floats above the plate is visible at first glance. Degrease the photo-etch before painting and spray it with a base coat, or the paint will not hold on the smooth metal.
The accessory is supplied unpainted and without the base kit. Glue, paints and the model of the vehicle are not included in the package.
