The set holds two resin models of the American Browning .30 caliber (7.62 mm) aircraft machine gun in a slightly different variant of the mechanism from the basic flexible form. It is a detail accessory, not an airplane kit; it replaces coarser plastic weapons and raises the fidelity of a model in 1:48 scale.
The Browning .30 caliber was a widespread American aircraft weapon. The manufacturer offers several forms according to the mounting and the mechanism of the weapon, so that it fits particular types of aircraft. The castings have a rendered cooling jacket and body detail.
Wash the resin parts free of mold release agent, separate the casting blocks and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate); sand with respiratory protection. Primer, metal shades and fine highlighting work well.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
