A set of precise self-adhesive New Ware painting masks for a model of the CF-105 Arrow in 1:48 scale. Masks of the canopy and further elements for a clean spray.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set holds precise self-adhesive New Ware painting masks for a model of the Canadian interceptor Avro Canada CF-105 Arrow in 1:48 scale. This is not a model but an aid which eases a clean spray of the canopy glazing and further elements. The masks are laser-cut out of fine washi (rice paper) tape, they copy the shapes of the frames precisely and, once the paint has been applied, they come off with no adhesive residue.
The Avro Canada CF-105 Arrow was a Canadian twin-engine interceptor with a delta wing from the end of the fifties, designed for intercepting bombers at great altitudes and speeds. Despite its advanced design the program was canceled in 1959, so only a few prototypes have survived. Today it is among the legendary unrealized machines of aviation history.
First coat the glazing with the color of the frames, then with the outer color. Transfer the masks carefully, press them down along the frames and lift them off once dry. The inner surfaces of the glazing stay clean. The masks are single-use.
These are painting masks, not a model. The paints, the kit and glue are not included in the package.
