The real subject

The Macchi MC.200 Saetta was an Italian single-seat fighter of the Second World War with a radial engine. The exhaust pipes projected along the sides of the forward fuselage around the engine cowling.

Building and painting tips

Wash the parts to remove mold release, cut off the casting blocks and bond them with super glue. Drilling out the exhaust openings and shading them with color brings the detail to life.
