The second part of the decal line from the Czech manufacturer AML devoted to the Messerschmitt Bf 109 K-4 fighter in 1:48 scale. The set is interesting in that besides the decals it also holds resin main wheels, so you upgrade the model in markings and in detail in one package.
The Bf 109 K-4, nicknamed the Kurfürst, was the last series-produced version of the legendary Bf 109. The DB 605D engine with MW 50 mixture injection gave it an output of more than 2000 horsepower, and at altitude the K-4 was among the fastest piston fighters of the war. It was deployed from the autumn of 1944 in the Defense of the Reich and on the fronts, often in the hands of young pilots in the closing months of the conflict.
Before use, wash the resin wheels in warm soapy water, cut them off the casting block with a saw or a sharp knife and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. Apply the decals on a gloss base by the wet method; with the late German camouflage schemes and their hard edges, take care to place the national insignia precisely according to photographs of the real aircraft.
This is a decal set with resin accessories; the kit itself, paints and glue are not included in the package.
