This item is NOT an aircraft model but a detailing accessory for the cockpit. It contains color photo-etched metal belts and buckles for the crew of the EA-6B Prowler carrier-based electronic warfare aircraft in 1:48 scale. They replace the simplified plastic belts from the original kit and markedly increase the realism of the seats.
The Grumman EA-6B Prowler was an American carrier-based electronic warfare aircraft derived from the A-6 Intruder attack aircraft. It served to jam enemy radars and communications and carried a crew of four, a pilot and three operators. It flew in the service of the US Navy and the US Marine Corps for several decades.
Separate the parts carefully from the fret with a sharp knife, shape them with tweezers and fix them with cyanoacrylate. It is best to protect the color printing with a matte varnish at the end. The work calls for patience and experience with small photo-etched parts.
This is a detailing accessory, not a stand-alone model. Paints, glue and the base kit are not included in the package.
