Eduard 1:48 F-15E is a set of pre-cut self-adhesive masks for the canopy glazing of the model of the two-seat F-15E in 1:48 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The basic masking set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard for the F-15E model in 1:48 scale. The masks are pre-cut from self-adhesive kabuki tape, conform to the curve of the canopy and leave no adhesive on the clear part when they are removed. Unlike the double-sided TFace version these are masks for the outside of the glazing. The package holds masks only, and the model is bought separately.
The F-15E is the two-seat multirole version of the F-15 fighter, adapted for all-weather attacks on ground targets. The crew consists of a pilot and a weapon systems operator, so the cockpit has a split canopy with prominent framing and a number of small glazed panels. Cutting masks by hand for a shape like that takes longer than the spraying itself.
Degrease the glazing and let it dry. Lift the masks out with tweezers, lay them exactly on the edge of the frame and press them down with a cotton bud. Lay the paint on in thin coats with enough time between them, otherwise it will seep under the edge. Spray the frames in the interior shade first and only then in the external one. Remove the masks shortly after the last coat has dried, while the paint has not fully cured.
The set holds masks only. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
