An add-on set from the Big Ed line for a model of the Grumman F4F-3 Wildcat carrier fighter in 1:48 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Grumman F4F-3 Wildcat was an American carrier fighter of the early Second World War. You will recognize it by the barrel-shaped fuselage, the radial engine and the high-set cockpit. The landing gear retracted into the fuselage and the pilot operated it by hand with a crank, a detail worth attention on a model. The F4F-3 form had a fixed wing with no folding, unlike the later versions.
This is an add-on set from the Big Ed line, that is a package that brings several individual accessory sets for one model together. The aim is to add to the kit the detail that injection-molded plastic cannot render at this scale. The exact list of contents and the kit the package is shaped for are given by the manufacturer.
Follow the enclosed instructions and try the parts dry by offering them up before gluing. If necessary, clear the surface the accessory is to seat on of the relief it replaces, otherwise the part will stand above the surface. Wash and degrease all surfaces before painting.
Only the add-on set is supplied. The kit, paints and glue are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
