A sheet of decals in 1:48 scale for a model of the Heinkel He 219 A-0 night fighter with the fuselage code GE+JA.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Heinkel He 219 was a German twin-engine night fighter from the second half of the war, known under the name Uhu, meaning eagle owl. The nose wheel and the long, slender nose with radar aerials tell it apart from day fighters at first glance. It was built in only small numbers, so every surviving machine has its history among modelers and the markings of individual examples are carefully distinguished.
Decals in 1:48 scale for a model of the He 219 in the A-0 version, specifically for the machine with the fuselage code GE+JA. The extent of the sheet, that is whether it carries only fuselage markings or national insignia and technical lettering as well, is stated by the manufacturer on the box and in the instructions. The placing of the individual elements on the model follows from them too.
Before you soak the sheet, check in the instructions whether it is not a self-adhesive standard: a soaked self-adhesive film is ruined, whereas an unsoaked waterslide decal can be soaked later. With an ordinary waterslide sheet, cut the element out close to the printing, dip it in lukewarm water for a few seconds and let it rest until the carrier film comes free. Then slide it onto a smooth, glossy and degreased surface, squeeze the water out from under it with a soft cloth and let it dry. On a surface with many shapes a softener helps; once dry, the elements are covered with a clear coat so that the edge of the film disappears.
The model, paints, clear coat and softener are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
