A set of resin Hispano 20 mm cannons with a flash hider in 1:48 scale from Aires. These are faithfully detailed armament parts with which you replace the simplified barrels and muzzles from a plastic kit and gain a more convincing look for the firing positions.
The Hispano 20 mm cannon was among the widespread aircraft automatic weapons, used above all by British fighters. The flash hider at the muzzle of the barrel reduced the dazzle when firing. The weapon was installed in the wings of a number of period types.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, carefully cut the thin barrels from the casting blocks and bond with super glue. The barrels come into their own once painted in a metal shade and given a gentle patina; take care to seat them straight in the wing.
This is a resin accessory for a kit, not an airplane model. The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted; the base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
