This resin exterior set from the manufacturer Pavla models adds refined external detail to a model of the Soviet fighter Yakovlev Yak-7 in 1:48 scale. It is not an aircraft kit but an accessory for improving the surface of the base model.
The Yakovlev Yak-7 was a Soviet single-engine fighter of the Second World War that grew out of the trainer version of the Yak family. It became the basis for the later and very widespread Yak-9 type and was fielded on the Eastern Front.
Wash the resin parts to remove the mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and sand the flash down with respiratory protection. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). For the best result, prime the parts before painting.
This is an accessory resin set, not a standalone kit. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
