Linden leaves in 1:48 scale are a scenic accessory from the Vertigo miniatures brand, a set of precisely cut leaves for creating the crown of a tree and leaf litter. It is not a model kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of leaf parts for dioramas and vignettes in 1:48 scale. It is not a model of an airplane or of a vehicle but an accessory with which you put foliage on the armature of a tree, complete an overhanging branch above a scene or scatter leaf litter over a base. The parts are precisely cut and supplied unpainted.
The linden has asymmetric heart-shaped leaves with a finely serrated edge and is among the most common trees of village greens, avenues and gardens in Central Europe. For a diorama scene from a European setting it is therefore a more natural choice than exotic trees, and the viewer accepts it subconsciously as the right backdrop.
Take the leaves out of the sheet, clean the burrs up with a new blade and bend each one lightly over a soft pad; flat leaves give a model away at first glance. Prepare an armature of branches from wire or natural twigs and glue the leaves on with gel cyanoacrylate glue, from the ends of the branches toward the trunk. Paint over a thin acrylic primer; use at least three shades of green, so that the crown has depth, and keep the underside of a leaf lighter than the upper side. Color the litter on the ground yellow and brown and dust it with small debris and pigment.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints, the armature of a tree and a base are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
