The B-57 Canberra came about as an American development of the British English Electric Canberra jet bomber and was built by the Glenn L. Martin Company. It entered US Air Force service in the mid-1950s and carried out tactical bombing, night attack and reconnaissance duties; some versions were adapted for flight at great altitude. The type saw its heaviest use in Southeast Asia.
Degrease the castings in soapy water, cut the casting blocks away with a saw and level the surface, sanding wet. They are glued with cyanoacrylate. Choose a dark gray for the tires, paint the hubs separately and clean up the transition with a brush. A fine wash emphasizes the tread pattern, and dust pigment settles the wheel onto the runway.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted and is not a stand-alone model. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
