A detail set of exhaust nozzles for the McDonnell Douglas F-15C Eagle fighter in 1:48 scale from Aires. The resin accessory replaces the simplified nozzles of a plastic kit with faithfully rendered outlets for both engines, with inner and outer petals and fine structure.
The F-15 Eagle is an American twin-engine air superiority fighter. The C version is the single-seat form with long range and powerful sensors. The two engines ending in their characteristic nozzles are among its conspicuous features.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, separate them from the casting blocks and bond with super glue. The nozzles come into their own with metallic shades and heat-stained transitions; pick out the inner surfaces with a dark wash.
This is a resin accessory for a kit, not an airplane model. The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted; the base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
