This is a resin detail set, not an aircraft model. The set sharpens up the pilot's station of a plastic model of the MiG-21 PF fighter in 1:48 scale. It contains a finely made instrument panel, cockpit side consoles and a seat, and it replaces the simplified parts of the kit.
The MiG-21 is among the most widespread supersonic fighters of the second half of the 20th century. The PF version was an interceptor variant with radar, deployed by a number of air forces. A faithful cockpit markedly raises the realism of a model with the canopy open.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and clean the surfaces up. Bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Paint the instrument panel and the consoles and pick them out with a wash before you close the forward fuselage.
This is a resin accessory, not a complete model. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
