An injection-molded plastic kit of the T-28C training version of the American Trojan aircraft in 1:48 scale from Roden. The box holds injection-molded plastic, clear glazing parts and a decal sheet; the model is meant to be glued and painted.
The North American T-28 Trojan was an American piston-engine trainer with a radial engine and a tandem arrangement of the cockpits. The T-28C version served with the US Navy to train pilots, including practice landings on aircraft carriers; it was therefore fitted with an arrestor hook and strengthened landing gear.
Paint and fit the multi-part radial engine and both cockpits before closing the fuselage. Glue the parts with liquid cement for plastic, apply a primer before spraying and use an airbrush for even coats. The striking training finish calls for clean masking of the individual areas.
