What the panel is for

The laminated photo-etched panel gives a cockpit fine dial faces and realistic color without painting the individual instruments. It usually comes with a lower subpanel that completes the look of the instrument board characteristic of the Lightning cockpit. Installation is a matter of sanding the plastic down and gluing the panel in.

Usage tips

• Separate the panel from the fret and degrease the surface to be bonded.
• Glue it in sparingly with super glue or an adhesive for photo-etch.
• Do not soil the glossy cover over the dials; it imitates the glass of the instruments.
• Thin the plastic cockpit part down beforehand to get the depth right.
