This is not an aircraft model but a small interior accessory: a painted panel with legible dials that replaces or covers the kit part and visibly lifts the cockpit even in this smaller scale.
The P-51D Mustang was one of the most important American fighter aircraft of the Second World War - it escorted bomber formations deep over Europe. The D-5 subvariant was the first production version of the D model with its characteristic bubble canopy; the dorsal fin fillet ahead of the rudder came only with later aircraft, and some machines received it retrospectively.
Sand the kit panel flat and glue the new panel on with a small drop of gel super glue. In 1:48 scale take care to center it correctly - the dials are tiny and any offset shows at once. A tiny drop of gloss clear coat can bring the instrument glazing to life.
