An injection-molded plastic kit of the Swedish SAAB 91 Safir piston-engine aircraft in 1:48 scale from Tarangus. The set allows the B, C and D variants to be built and offers three or four seats depending on the version. The box contains decals for several user countries.
The SAAB 91 Safir was a Swedish single-engine piston aircraft used above all as a trainer and liaison machine. It first flew in the mid-1940s and was built in several versions. Besides the Swedish Air Force, the air forces of other countries operated it as well. It was a reliable low-wing monoplane of conventional layout.
Finish the cockpit interior before closing the fuselage. Spraying the model with an airbrush over a base filler is recommended, and the clear parts should be masked. Choose the variant and the matching decals according to the instructions, and give the surface a gloss coat before applying them.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
