Aerobonus Soviet Woman Pilot WWII with parachute 1:48 — a resin figure of a Soviet woman pilot of the Second World War with a parachute, in 1:48 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin figure from the Czech manufacturer Aerobonus for more experienced modelers. It captures a standing Soviet woman pilot of the Second World War period with a parachute strapped on. The figure is intended to bring aviation dioramas in 1:48 scale to life and also serves as a stand-alone collector's item.
During the Second World War women also served in the Soviet Air Force, both with night bomber and with fighter units. The parachute was a part of the standard equipment of airmen. The figure captures a woman pilot in period flight gear with a parachute harness.
Wash the remains of the mold release agent off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and clean up the surfaces. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) and protect your airways while sanding. Apply primer before painting; the face and the gear are best painted with gradual layering and glazes, and the parachute harness is finished at the end with a fine brush.
This is a resin figure, not an aircraft model. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted; paints, glue and an aircraft are not included in the package.
