The set joins a boarding ladder for the Su-33 and chocks placed under the landing gear wheels, both of resin in 1:48 scale. This is an accessory for a built model, not a kit of the aircraft. The number of parts can be found on the packaging.
The Su-33 is a single-seat carrier-borne variant derived from the Su-27 line, adapted for operation from an aircraft carrier. On deck a parked machine is secured against movement, so chocks under the wheels are not an optional detail there but a necessity. A model complemented by chocks and a ladder wheeled up therefore looks convincing even on a small base, where there is no room for a more extensive scene.
Resin is strong but not flexible: what would bend in plastic will crack here. The most vulnerable parts are the thin rungs of the ladder, and not only during the build but afterwards as well. Do not store the finished accessory loose in a box with other parts, therefore, and when carrying a diorama it is better to hold it. The packaging the set arrived in is worth keeping: soft padding is a better store for fragile castings than any improvisation. Any broken part can be glued with cyanoacrylate glue; a break in resin tends to be clean.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. It is not a model of the aircraft but an accessory for it. Glue, paints and the kit are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
