Clear Prop Models 1:48 XA2D-1 / A2D Skyshark - pitot tubes and gun barrels (metal detail)

This is not a kit but a set of fine turned metal details. It contains pitot tubes and the barrels of the onboard guns for a model of the American carrier-based XA2D-1 / A2D Skyshark prototype in 1:48 scale. The metal parts replace more fragile plastic components, hold an exact shape and are more resistant to damage during handling.

Use

• Cutting off the plastic originals and fitting the metal replacements on the leading edge and the nose.
• Gluing with super glue (cyanoacrylate) for a firm joint between metal and plastic.
• The metal parts can be roughened slightly before gluing for better paint adhesion.
• Recommended for a model of the Skyshark in 1:48 scale.
