Copper State Models 1:35 Belgian Armoured car officer is a resin figure of an officer of the Belgian armored cars of the First World War period.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin figure in 1:35 from the maker Copper State Models. It represents an officer of the Belgian armored cars of the First World War period, in the uniform of the day, which differs from the kit of an ordinary crew member in details as well as in cut. The figure is an accessory for a vehicle model or for a diorama — a model of a vehicle is not part of the package.
A casting of modeling resin, supplied unassembled and unpainted, usually divided into several parts so that the detail stays clean. Resin holds sharper edges than injection-molded plastic, so the folds of the cloth, the pouches and the small features of the uniform are clearly legible in 1:35 and are easy to bring out with paint.
First wash the parts in lukewarm water with a drop of detergent, so that the remains of mold release agent are removed. Cut the casting blocks off with a saw or with cutters and level the surface with a file; when sanding resin, protect your breathing, ideally sand wet. Glue with cyanoacrylate — plastic cement has no effect on resin. A primer is necessary before painting. Build the uniform up in layers: a base tone, a darker shadow in the folds, lighter highlights on the edges. Leave the face and hands for last and work on them with a fine brush and heavily thinned paint.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted, as a resin casting. Paints, glue and the vehicle are not included in the package.
