Responsibility details are not available.
This resin kit captures the German fleet tender Hela as she was in 1941, in 1:700 scale. The model from the Czech manufacturer ROP is cast in resin and suits modelers with experience of resin. The contents of the package follow the actual delivery.
Hela was a fleet tender (Flottentender) of the Kriegsmarine, serving as a command and escort ship for task force staffs. She entered service in 1940. She offered extensive working and living space for a numerous staff and was equipped with everything a fleet command needed. She was an auxiliary vessel rather than a warship in the proper sense; her silhouette is more civilian in look, with a prominent superstructure.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue); sand with respiratory protection. Adding photo-etched railings and masts will raise the fidelity. The model can be built as a waterline model or on a base.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
