HMS Queen Elizabeth 1941 is a plastic kit of the lead ship of the British battleship class of the same name in 1:700 scale from Trumpeter.
Responsibility details are not available.
This injection-molded plastic kit shows the British battleship HMS Queen Elizabeth in her 1941 condition. The hull can be built as a full hull on a stand or in a waterline version to the waterline. The box contains photo-etched parts, a stand with a nameplate and waterslide decals. Paints, glue and accessories are not included, unless stated otherwise.
HMS Queen Elizabeth was the lead ship of the class of the same name, which in its day was among the most powerful battleships of the Royal Navy. After an extensive modernization she served in the Second World War. She carried a main battery of 15-inch guns and the strong armor characteristic of this class.
Join the parts with thin plastic cement and the photo-etched elements with cyanoacrylate. In a small scale an airbrush and a primer pay off; for a convincing look a period camouflage scheme is the answer, with the panel lines picked out with a wash and the edges with a dry brush.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
