Fujimi 1:700 set of machine guns, shields and boat davits — an add-on for warships in 1:700 scale: machine gun armament, protective shields, boat davits and other deck fittings.
Responsibility details are not available.
This add-on set from Fujimi holds machine gun armament, protective shields, boat davits and other small deck fittings for models of warships in 1:700 scale. It is precisely these small things that decide how convincing a finished model looks — base kits often simplify them or leave them out. This is not a standalone model but an add-on to a ship kit.
Light machine guns supplemented the anti-aircraft defense of warships, and sheet metal shields protected their positions. Boat davits served to lower and recover the boats along the sides of the ship — in period photographs they are among the characteristic elements of the deck silhouette.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife and fit them with tweezers using a minimum of glue. Check the layout of the armament and the davits against period photographs of the particular ship and period — the armament changed during the war. The remaining parts will serve as a stock for further builds.
This is an add-on set — the ship model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
