Decals in 1:72 scale for the Soviet T-34/76 medium tank in the 1943 pattern, part one.
Responsibility details are not available.
A sheet of decals in 1:72 scale with markings for the T-34/76 tank in the 1943 pattern. It is the first part of the theme, so a continuation with further machines follows on from it. The particular vehicles, their markings and the placement of the elements are described in the instructions in the package.
The T-34 was a Soviet medium tank that combined steeply sloped armor, wide tracks and good mobility across country. The version with a 76 mm gun is designated T-34/76, and the machines of 1943 differed from the earlier ones in changes to the turret and the equipment. Markings on Soviet tanks were sparing at this time: tactical numbers, occasionally an inscription or a unit emblem.
The usual method is the wet one: cut the element out, put it in lukewarm water for a few seconds and let it rest until it begins to slide freely off the backing. Slide it onto a dampened place on the model, straighten it with a soft brush and blot the surplus water away. Smooth gloss varnish under the decal will limit silvering, and on a machine with a heavily textured finish a decal softener helps. Before you soak the sheet, check in the instructions whether it is an adhesive type, because an adhesive film that has been soaked cannot be saved.
The set suits modelers of Soviet vehicles in a small scale who want to build a model as a particular machine and will not settle for the generic markings from the box.
The package holds decals. The model, paints, varnish and decal softener are not part of it, unless stated otherwise.
