This injection-molded plastic kit in 1:72 scale from Mirage Hobby represents the original AH-64A version of the American Apache attack helicopter. The model is supplied as an unassembled and unpainted kit with engraved surface detail, cabin glazing and external stores.
The AH-64A is the basic production version of the Apache attack helicopter. Unlike the later forms it had no mast-mounted radar. The machine has a tandem two-seat cabin with a pilot and a gunner and is intended above all to fight armored vehicles and to support ground forces. Its side pylons for armament and the gun under the nose are characteristic.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife and glue them with liquid cement for plastic. Glue the cabin glazing only after the paints have been sprayed. Apply a base primer, lay the paints on with an airbrush and bring out the engraving with a wash. Paint the external stores separately and fit them at the end.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
