An injection-molded plastic kit of a twin-engine turboprop aircraft in 1:72 scale from the Polish manufacturer Aero Plast. It captures the light multirole high-wing monoplane Antonov An-28 with short takeoff and landing. The package holds parts in gray plastic, clear glazing parts and decals. The model has the characteristic pair of fins and fixed landing gear.
The An-28 (NATO code name Cash) is a light twin-engine turboprop aircraft capable of short takeoff and landing (STOL), developed at the Antonov design bureau as the successor to the An-14. It was series-built in Poland and served to carry passengers and cargo over short distances, as well as for airborne and special duties. It was marked out by its ability to operate from short and unprepared strips.
Paint and mask the glazing of the flight deck and the windows carefully, and glue the clear parts with a glue that leaves no film. Join the parts with a thin cement for plastic. We recommend a primer underneath and an airbrush; on airliner schemes a smooth gloss base under the decals and discreet accenting of the panels work well.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
