Injection-molded plastic kit of the Arado Ar 234C-3 with the Bombentorpedo in 1:72 scale from Hobby 2000: the German jet bomber of the end of the Second World War with Cartograf decals and masks in the box.
Responsibility details are not available.
Injection-molded plastic kit of the German jet bomber Arado Ar 234C-3 in the version with the Bombentorpedo external store, in 1:72 scale in the Hobby 2000 edition. It is a limited release combining plastic parts originating from Dragon tooling with a new decal sheet printed by Cartograf and with self-adhesive masks. The box captures the initial production form of the four-engined C-3 version.
The Arado Ar 234 was the first jet bomber in the world to be used operationally. While the basic B version had two engines, the C version received four turbojets arranged in pairs under the wings, which improved performance as well as safety. The Bombentorpedo external store was one of the attempts at a more effective way of attacking ground and naval targets in the very last stage of the war. The Ar 234 was built only in limited numbers and was deployed above all for reconnaissance and bombing.
Cut the parts from the sprues and glue them with liquid modeling cement for plastic. Paint and highlight the heavily glazed cockpit before closing it up, and mask the extensive glazing carefully with the enclosed masks. Apply a primer and the paints with an airbrush, transfer the Cartograf decals over a gloss coat and bring out the panel lines with a wash. Late German machines suit an inconspicuous field camouflage and measured wear.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
