A plastic kit of the German fighter Messerschmitt Bf 109 G-1 in 1:72 scale from the Czech company AZ model. The package holds injection-molded plastic sprues, a clear canopy part and decals; check the exact contents against the enclosed instructions.
The Bf 109 G-1 was an early version of the famous Gustav series, the first to be fitted with the Daimler-Benz DB 605 engine. It was a high-altitude variant with a pressurized cockpit, meant for combat at high altitude. The G series became the most numerously built version of the Messerschmitt Bf 109 and was fielded on every front of the Second World War.
Clean the parts up and try the fit dry. Use a thin cement for plastic for the gluing and finish the small parts by sanding. Apply a primer before painting; the typical German camouflage with mottling goes on well with an airbrush. Lay the decals over a gloss varnish.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
