AML 1:72 decals for the Curtiss H75A-1 and the Morane-Saulnier MS.406 are the markings of French fighters of 1940.
Responsibility details are not available.
A decal set in 1:72 scale from the Czech brand AML. It is not a kit: it is a decal sheet with markings for two types of French fighter aircraft, the American Curtiss H75A-1 and the home-built Morane-Saulnier MS.406. An aircraft model is not included in the package, and the decals are applied to a finished, varnished model. The set thus makes it possible to build a model in markings that a basic kit lacks, or to turn one box into two different machines.
French fighter aviation of 1940 rested on two main types. The MS.406 was the more numerous, but in combat with its opponent it lagged behind in speed and in armament. The Curtiss H75, an American aircraft delivered before the war, was by contrast agile and easy to handle, and French units achieved most of their aerial victories with it. The markings of both types were varied, with a prominent roundel and often with a squadron emblem on the fuselage as well.
The set is meant for modelers who want to mark their model differently from the basic kit. The model, the glue and the paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
