Decals Curtiss P-40 over Pearl Harbor 1:72 are a set of waterslide decals for models of the Curtiss P-40 fighter in 1:72 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of waterslide decals in 1:72 scale from the Czech maker AML, devoted to Curtiss P-40 machines connected with the events at Pearl Harbor. These are aftermarket markings for finishing a plastic model, not a kit. They let you build a machine in the colors of the US Army Air Forces from the beginning of the war in the Pacific.
The Curtiss P-40 was an American fighter with a V12 engine, and its early versions were stationed in Hawaii at the turn of 1941 and 1942. During the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor it was one of the types that tried to get airborne and defend the bases. Machines from this period carry the characteristic prewar and early war American markings.
Apply the decals over a gloss coat so that no silvering occurs. In 1:72 scale the motifs are small, so work with plenty of water and tweezers. A softening solution will help them settle over panel lines. Once dry, seal them with a final clear coat.
This is a decal set only. The model, paints and clear coat are not included in the package.
