1:72 F-101A Voodoo ADVANCED kabuki masks

New Ware F-101A Voodoo ADVANCED kabuki masks 1:72

A set of accurately cut self-adhesive masks from New Ware in 1:72 scale. The kabuki masks of fine washi (rice paper) tape follow the shape of the part well, come off easily and leave no adhesive. The ADVANCED level covers the inner and outer framing of the canopy glazing including masks for the sealant color, and further masks for the wheels and other clear parts. It is an accessory for painting, not an aircraft model.

The real subject

The McDonnell F-101 Voodoo is an American supersonic jet aircraft of the 1950s. The F-101A version was the first production standard, conceived as a long-range fighter-bomber. The twin-engine machine with its slender fuselage and high-set tail surfaces belonged to the generation of the first supersonic aircraft of the US Air Force.

Use

• Lift the mask off the sheet, set it exactly and press it down on the part
• Spray the paint in thin coats against bleeding under the edge
• Remove the masks shortly after the paint has dried
• They allow a clean separation of the canopy frames and the wheel colors

Who the set is for

• For builders of jet aircraft in 1:72 scale
• For modelers who want sharp transitions without masking by hand
• For a build painted with an airbrush
• For enthusiasts of American Cold War aviation hardware

This is a set of painting masks, not a model. The paints, the glue and the model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
