A plastic kit of diorama furniture in 1:12 scale from the range of figure accessories by the Japanese manufacturer Hasegawa. The set represents a school laboratory workbench (with a water tap, a sink and a gas tap) together with wooden chairs. The package holds one bench and four chairs. This is not a model of a vehicle or an airplane but a scenic accessory for building dioramas.
The parts are molded in several colors of plastic (black, white, gray and brown), so they look convincing even without painting. The set serves as the equipment of a school science classroom for scenes with figures and models in 1:12 scale, or as furniture for a doll's house.
It is an easy snap-fit kit where glue is not necessary and painting is optional. For a more realistic look the wooden surfaces can be toned with a wash and the sink area picked out with a gloss varnish. Sand the sharp edges left after cutting the parts from the sprues down lightly.
The model is supplied unassembled. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
