The decal set Red Devils with Rockets, part II in 1:72 scale from the Czech manufacturer AML — the second installment of the line devoted to Eastern Front aircraft carrying rocket armament.
Responsibility details are not available.
The second part of the line from the Czech manufacturer AML follows on from the popular first part and brings further markings for models in 1:72 scale. The name of the line refers to Eastern Front aircraft armed with unguided rockets, an armament that became one of the characteristic features of the Soviet Air Force of the Second World War.
The Soviet Air Force used unguided rockets against ground and air targets from the end of the 1930s, and during the war rocket rails under the wings became standard equipment on a number of types. For modelers it is a rewarding subject: an aircraft with underwing stores looks dynamic and offers room for detailing as well as for interesting unit markings and personal emblems.
Work out the order before you start: the large areas first, then the small lettering. Apply the decals on a gloss base, settle them with a setting solution and use a decal softener on textured surfaces. Transfer the small subjects with the tip of a wet brush, not with tweezers, so that they do not tear. Once dry, coat the whole model over and so even the sheen of the decals out with the surrounding surface.
This is a decal sheet, an accessory rather than a kit. The particular aircraft types and schemes on the sheet follow the manufacturer's current release.
