Responsibility details are not available.
The second part of the line from the Czech manufacturer AML brings a sheet of Soviet national insignia, that is the red stars, in 1:72 scale. It is a universal accessory: it comes in useful wherever the decals from the kit are missing, do not match in size, have an inaccurate shade or fall apart with age the moment they are soaked.
The red star developed during the war: it was used in a form with an outline and without one, and in various sizes according to the type of aircraft and the placing on the fuselage, the wings or the rudder. Older kits of Soviet equipment often have insignia with inaccurate geometry or color depth, and after years in the box the decals yellow and grow brittle. A sheet from a specialist manufacturer therefore often decides the final impression of the whole model.
Measure the positions of the insignia out in advance and mark them with a piece of masking tape, so that the stars are symmetrical on both halves of the wing. The base should be gloss or semi-gloss; settle the decal with a setting solution, and a decal softener will draw it into the engraved lines. Once dry, even the whole model out with a coat of varnish to the degree of sheen you want.
This is a decal sheet, an accessory rather than a kit. The sizes and forms of the stars on the sheet are not stated here.
