The decal sheet 1:72 Do 17 Z-5 general Kesselring from the manufacturer OWL with markings for the twin-engine Dornier Do 17 Z-5. It is an accessory for building a model, not a kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
A sheet of decals in 1:72 scale from the manufacturer OWL, devoted to a Dornier Do 17 machine of the Z-5 version. According to the name these are the markings of one particular aircraft connected with the name Kesselring, which makes the sheet a targeted accessory for one particular machine rather than a universal set of markings.
The Do 17 was a German twin-engine bomber with a narrow fuselage, nicknamed the flying pencil for its slender shape. The Z series made up the last large production version with a glazed forward part of the fuselage and radial engines; within the series there was a whole range of production sub-versions differing in equipment and purpose. Models of the Do 17 Z are built in 1:72 often, so there is interest in alternative markings.
The fuselage of the Do 17 is intricate and decals on it often reach across the glazing or across engraved panel lines. Coat the surface with gloss varnish, therefore, and settle the larger elements with a softener part by part, so that the film does not crumple. Mask the glazed parts, so that varnish does not get onto the clear plastic. Once it has dried, unify the surface with matte varnish and only then deal with the weathering, otherwise a decal can be damaged during cleaning.
This is not a kit but a decal sheet. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
