An injection-molded plastic kit of the single-seat multi-role General Dynamics (Lockheed Martin) F-16C fighter in the Block 42 version. The model in 1:72 scale is issued by the Polish manufacturer Mistercraft. The package holds plastic parts, a clear canopy part and a decal sheet for a finish in the colors of the American Air National Guard. It is a classic kit of an older style that even a less experienced modeler can manage.
The F-16 Fighting Falcon is a single-engine fourth-generation jet fighter with a characteristic semi-bubble canopy and a ventral engine intake. The Block 42 version is among the modernized aircraft with a more powerful engine and the ability to carry a wide range of guided and unguided weapons. The type serves in many air forces around the world and is still one of the most widespread combat aircraft.
Glue the parts with thin modeling cement for plastic, sand the fuselage and wing joints and fill them if needed. Apply a primer before painting. The gray camouflage scheme is best sprayed with an airbrush; settle the decals on a gloss varnish and seal them with a matte clear coat. Masking the cockpit canopy proves its worth.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
