This is a set of photo-etched parts from the Czech manufacturer Eduard aimed at the internal weapons bay. It is not an aircraft model but an accessory for raising the detail of a plastic kit of the American F-22 Raptor stealth fighter in 1:72 scale. The fine metal parts sharpen up the walls of the bay, the doors and their mechanisms, which plastic only suggests.
The Lockheed Martin F-22 Raptor is an American twin-engine fifth-generation fighter with stealth technology that reduces its radar signature. To keep its clean shape and low observability it carries its main armament in internal weapons bays that open only for the moment of launch.
Separate the photo-etched parts from the fret, bend them over a sharp edge and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). It is a good idea to detail and paint the inside of the bay before the fuselage is closed. Open bomb bay doors then make the finished model markedly more interesting.
This is an add-on set, not a standalone model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
